COVID-19 and Dental Appointments

We are still open!

Dr. Dirks and the Geriatric Dental Group mobile dental team is here for you throughout this COVID emergency.

Independent, assisted living, nursing home, and memory care communities may prefer to use our highly-rated mobile dental services during this COVID emergency. Our dentists provide in-office as well as mobile dental services for the 50+ in and around San Antonio.

At this time, Dr. Dirks will be the sole clinician providing treatment. In addition:
  • We will only schedule one patient at a time.
  • There will be only one person allowed in waiting room at one time.
  • Waiting room and all handles will be disinfected in between patients.
  • CDC and ADA guidelines will be monitored closely.

While a faculty at UTHSCSA Dr. Dirks taught infection control for many years and adheres to the most rigorous standards. Studies show that untreated oral, gum, and tooth infections lower your immune system. In addition, many oral infections do not respond to antibiotics.
