Dr. Jeff Paz
After graduating from St. Mary’s University with a Biochemistry degree, Dr. Paz commenced his training at Tufts University with a focus on Molecular Craniofacial Development-spawning his interest in the mouth, T.M.J., muscles of the face, and teeth. Over the years and through countless hours of continuing education, Dr. Paz has developed a special niche in helping patients with T.M.D., mal-occlusion, broken/fractured teeth.
Dr. Paz is on the Fellow-Track for the Academy of General Dentistry (less than 8% of Dentists in the U.S. currently hold this designation) and was recruited to be on faculty as a Professor at the UT-Health Science Center, Division of Evidence Based Practice. Dr. Paz enjoys training other dentists and has served on the American Dental Association Editorial Board for On-Line Continuing Education, helping other dentists receive cutting edge training. He is actively involved in the Texas Dental Association serving as clinical host to internationally acclaimed speakers. Dr. Paz has authored and lectured across the United States on topics ranging from bone reconstruction to evidence based practice. He serves on Concorde College Academic Advisory Council. He has also served on the Medical Team for our very own San Antonio Rampage Hockey Team.
Dr. Paz remains committed to excellent patient care by continuing to serve as adjunct faculty at the UT-Health School of Dentistry in San Antonio. Having published numerous peer-reviewed articles on topics ranging from Craniofacial Development to dental implants, keeps Dr. Paz on the cutting edge of conservative treatment options. Whether it be crowns, fillings, or dental implants – the goal is to enable his patients to keep their teeth for the rest of their lives.
